Oil Oracle

Things are getting rather uncertain with regard to the impact long-term and short of the British Petroleum ecological disaster in the gulf of mexico.

When Only the Best Will Do

Dick Cheney's crew did a fine job snuffing out all those oil fires in old Kuwait middle-east but can they butt-plug the man-made volcano two thousand leagues under the sea?

Shop and Listen

We've all been to a Walmart or drove through hoods like Little Haiti and Hialeah. The Brooklyns of Miami are proof positive that we will always be a developing nation, and that's a good thing.

Pro Progress

The weird thing is that no matter how much concrete we pour or swamp we pave, no amount of progress will solve the people problem. But in reality people power is the solution and institutions are the problem, corporate mindset is the culprit in many a current woes, such as cost of living aka monthly bills. Power, TeeVee, Phone, Water, CCcards, you name it, the more you take on the more happier corporation get.

Goop in the Gulf

Chemistry Lesson # 1

Everybody knows that oil and water don't mix, but once emulsified it is tough to separate them. No amount of "sponge bob dissepants", monster fires or water-proof concrete is going to solve this environmental disaster.

Practically a Religion

So the bitter vinegar in this week's news salad is the hard reminder of our dependence on fossil fuels. The stubbornness of conservatives who refuse to move forward with a new energy policy.

Scream Bloody Murder

The good folk from Greenpeace have been telling us for years that oil corporations are not our friends. We must keep a very watchful eye on multinationals for wherever they trek calamity soon follows. How soon can they devastate our planet? News Flash, they already have!

It's the Vision Thing, Stupid.

Every year that goes by is another year behind the eight ball. Eight years of Bush/Cheney Halliburton, British Petrol and all the others that continue to get filthy rich on our dependence on oil is eight years of lost opportunity to make the needed changes to our energy demands.

Energy Galore

So instead of seeing this....

...we see this...

and this...

and this...

and this...

and finally this.

It is a crying shame, how man will kill the thing he loves.
